Research sponsorships (without an a+ Prix Média award)
Each year, the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences generally sponsor three excellent projects by journalists who are over 31 years old. To apply for sponsorship, applicants submit a project proposal outlining a particular research and science topic.
The project description should explain which parts of a project are to be financed and why funding by the Academies is necessary. The awards committee then selects and sponsors the best project ideas, which are presented on the Swiss Academies’ website upon completion.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The planned contribution will be carried out in one of the four national languages. It should be aimed at the publication of the contribution in a Swiss medium. The deadline for submission of the application must be observed. Only one application is allowed per call for proposals. The applicant is over 31 years of age. The application must be submitted using the form provided. All media channels are permitted for project ideas. The journalist code of the Swiss Press Council must be observed in the contribution. Send the completed application form and two already published work samples to info@prixmedia.ch by 15 May 2020 at the latest.
